Atty. Cristie Pearl Pabuaya is a lawyer, Certified Public Accountant, and Certified Tax Compliance Specialist with a strong background in tax, accounting, finance, and corporate law. Her practice focuses on tax advisory, regulatory compliance, corporate structuring, corporate governance, helping clients navigate complex financial and regulatory matters with practical, strategic guidance.

She has extensive experience advising businesses and taxpayers on tax audits, regulatory compliance, corporate transactions, and dealings with the Bureau of Internal Revenue and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Her experience spans real estate development, energy, banking and financial services, and software companies.

Before joining CANOY LAW as Of Counsel, Atty. Pabuaya served as Legal Manager of Oakridge Realty Development Corporation, where she handled corporate contracts, regulatory compliance, and institutional policies. She previously served as Assistant Manager for Planning and Finance at Kepco SPC Power Corporation and as Senior Tax Associate at Reyes Tacandong & Co., where she handled tax advisory and negotiations, regulatory compliance, and assessments.

Atty. Pabuaya earned her Bachelor of Laws from the University of San Carlos. Her combined legal, accounting, and financial expertise enables her to provide commercially grounded advice on tax exposure, corporate transactions, regulatory reviews, and financial risk helping clients make informed decisions while protecting their business interests and assets.
